Part of the Collectors Items Range this Spiky Geode is one of the last and was made in Whangarei in 2014.  I developed the technique for making these when I was studying at Orrefors National Glass School in Sweden and it forms part of my early foray into Optical Magic.

The piece has my signature full polished surface and the glass has been plucked and poked to create interesting optical effects.
